Tiburon Impact Adventures
Tiburon Impact Adventures began in 2017 when a group of Tiburon members, including Chip Roame and Scott Hanson (Vice Chairman, Allworth Financial) discussed ways to give back to the world with their industry colleagues. After an initial effort in Ethiopia, the group has focused on building homes for families in Tijuana, Mexico. Participants pay a participant fee to cover transportation, lodging, & meals. Tiburon pays for the cost of the homes. Tiburon Impact Adventures take place the last Sunday-Tuesday of March each year and Tiburon has built eighteen homes to date.
