***************************************************************************** One of Tiburon's most popular services is its half-day market seminar offering. Tiburon market seminars provide clients with quick, yet thorough understandings of industry dynamics and leading players in growing markets. Tiburon market seminars are a great way to kick-off board meetings, management committee meetings, and sales meetings. The firm also prides itself on helping its clients through the process of strategic implementation. This release provides an overview of Tiburon market seminars, introduces the Tiburon Consulting Fellows, and provides directions for scheduling seminars and contacting Tiburon Consulting Fellows ******************************************************************************* Introduction
Tiburon Strategic Advisors is a market research & strategy consulting firm serving the brokerage and investment management industry. Due to the depth of its existing written industry knowledge (150,000 PowerPoint charts and graphs), Tiburon is able to deliver detailed presentations on a wide range of products and markets within the brokerage and investment management marketplace without significant preparation. As a result, Tiburon Market Seminars have become ideal for clients who need a quick and yet thorough understanding of industry dynamics and leading players in growing markets. This is also an ideal low-cost method for new Tiburon clients to tap into the firm's years of industry experience and prior research efforts. Specifically, Tiburon executives have been engaged by many firms to deliver presentations and lead brainstorming sessions with boards of directors, senior management teams, venture capital teams, and other groups. Tiburon Market Seminars are a great way to kick-off board meetings, management committee meetings, and sales meetings. Some Tiburon clients then develop their own strategies; others engage Tiburon for further research and strategy work. In any case, this is a great place to start; there is no reason to engage a consulting firm and wait months for them to catch up to one's existing knowledge! Scheduling Tiburon Market Seminars A typical Tiburon Market Seminar often lasts two to six hours (depending on the client's needs) and can include 100-300+ pages of analyses regarding chosen markets. Market Seminars cost $15,000-$20,000 plus travel expenses for two. Market Seminars can be scheduled by contacting Brian Cotter at BCotter@TiburonAdvisors.Com or 415-789-2546. More Information Click the links below for more information: Tiburon Consulting Fellows Tiburon's core business is the delivery of research-based strategy consulting including its market seminars. The firm also prides itself on helping its clients through the process of strategic implementation (e.g., identifying vendors, etc.). However, the firm recognizes that there comes a point where Tiburon's research skills are no longer the focus of its clients' needs and clients specifically need assistance in designing brochures, training advisors, installing software choices, choosing money managers, and/or recruiting executives. In other words, Tiburon offers strategic help that often leads to its clients needing tactical help in implementing strategies. Since Tiburon consultants speak at dozens of conferences every year, the firm is exposed to all types of other industry "consultants" and has worked with many in client engagements. As a result, to assist Tiburon clients, the firm has developed a network of consultants in the industry that it believes offer specific expertise to help its clients. Tiburon's Consulting Fellows Program includes experts in the areas of Sales & Marketing, Operations & Technology, Human Resources & Recruiting, Investment Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Legal Affairs.
